ConnectSmart ControlPoint
QSR’s ConnectSmart ControlPoint software is a powerful and intuitive tool for easily and effectively managing the computing hardware used within a single restaurant location, or across hundreds of restaurants. ControlPoint enables quick configuration and advanced real-time diagnostics, as well as the ability to easily perform updates and changes without the requirement to physically touch each device.
ControlPoint enables pre-configuration of devices and automatically recognizes and configures new devices on the network, creating a plug-and-play environment that simplifies implementation and ongoing support. Users also rely on ControlPoint to easily download new operating system images, update applications, distribute files, and refresh or reboot devices.
In addition to reducing issues, ControlPoint ensures faster responses when a problem does occur with real-time monitoring and advanced diagnostics. To make the troubleshooting process even more efficient, ControlPoint can gather logs and take screen captures. And with ControlPoint, devices on the network can be tested and applications running on the devices can be monitored.
ControlPoint was designed specifically to manage QSR’s kitchen display and table management restaurant hardware using the Microsoft® Windows® operating systems. Empowering restaurants with a single tool to manage all systems within the restaurant, ControlPoint can also be used to manage windows-based third party systems, including point-of-sale terminals and applications. Additionally, ControlPoint enables a restaurant to run a non-QSR application on a QSR device.
Speeding resolution times and reducing costs for on-site support visits, with the centralized ControlPoint Enterprise option, users can connect to each restaurant within an enterprise from any internet capable computer to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
