Onyx devices
Built to QSR's customized specifications to meet demanding restaurant needs, QSR’s Onyx OEM devices offer robust graphical and multi-media capabilities along with a number of operating system choices to reliably run QSR’s advanced kitchen display and table management software solutions. Housed within rugged metal, the Onyx devices are slim, fanless, and ventless, saving highly coveted space in the most unforgiving restaurant locations.
In addition to the VESA mounting holes already on the device, QSR offers pockets for use with the QSR bracketing systems, making it easy and economical to mount the Onyx devices in any kitchen or hostess stand.
Running the Microsoft® Windows® Embedded operating system and using DOM to avoid any moving parts, the Onyx Kitchen is often used with QSR's CSK and TeamAssist to add the power of sound at certain kitchen stations.
Most often installed with the Microsoft® Windows® Embedded operating system as well as a substantial hard disk and memory to run QSR's Hostess, the Onyx Hostess is also available with the Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional operating system.
QSR also makes the Onyx available for use with FreshServe in restaurants that require multiple serial connections, and OrderReady for high monitor resolutions.
Advanced capabilities and key benefits include:
- Slim, fanless, ventless device in rugged, metal housing to function in unforgiving restaurant environments
- Display graphics, menu cards, and training videos with QSR’s kitchen display software
- Performance for QSR’s highly graphical table management software
