QSR’s innovative ConnectSmart GuestView enables operators to use highly graphical customer facing displays to communicate key information along with multi-media messaging to customers within the restaurant. Table service operators may choose to display the wait list along with advertisements. The software can also be used to show information for any order that a customer will pick up within the restaurant, such as take-away orders in a table service environment or counter pick-ups in a fast casual environment.
Customisable software to empower customers with key information
With the ConnectSmart GuestView software, all text, fonts, colors, and images are user definable. And a variety of advertisements can be displayed using a number of popular image and multi-media formats as well as web content.
Operators can choose to run the flexible ConnectSmart GuestView on QSR’s eXpert hospitality controller with monitors up to a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. To add impact, the system can drive much larger flat panel or plasma screens, limited in size only by the video card within the computer running the ConnectSmart GuestView software. And based on the support of the video card, operators can also choose to span the information being displayed across multiple screens.
Whether spanning across multiple screens or using just one screen, the operator can configure the number of seconds to view each page before transitioning to a new page on the screen. The operator can also set up the system to display advertisements in a certain order or randomly, or show advertisements only when there is no order data to be shown on that particular screen. The bank of advertisements can be automatically updated based on day part. Operators can also split a screen vertically or horizontally to show data and advertisements on the same screen at the same time.

Using ConnectSmart GuestView to share wait list information with customers not only drives customer satisfaction, but also relieves stress and workload on the reception staff because customers are not approaching staff to ask for status information. All party name, party size, estimated wait time, and status data is automatically and immediately sent to the ConnectSmart GuestView screens from QSR’s ConnectSmart Hostess. Parties are also automatically removed from the ConnectSmart GuestView screens once seated. |
